In this short video, see Simon in a panel discussion about IPO’s and what to look out for.  As with any investment you need to do your homework to understand the business and form a view of its investment potential.  Some of the key things to look out for include 1) the motivation of the seller, why is this coming to the market; 2) what is the capital being raised being used for, is it to grow the business or are insiders cashing out.  During the IPO process the level of information available is generally extensive which can help to form these views, but critically every case is different.
